Darden to Offer a New Executive Program in Innovation

Week-long program to help managers "win the innovation game"

The University of Virginia's Darden School of Business will launch a new executive education program in innovation, according to the school's website.

"Learn to Die: How to Win at the Innovation Game," will help managers survive in a business world that is set to change in the coming years. Technological change generally, and artificial intelligence, specifically, will dramatically affect business, according to Darden faculty.

"Artificial intelligence is a game changer, " says Edward D. Hess, who will teach on the program "It may be the biggest discovery since fire. That’s a long way back. It’s going to move technology up the thinking chain, up the white collar chain into the professions."

Over the course of one week, "Learn to Die" executives will learn how to better innovate by focusing on critical thinking and experimentation tools. Participants will come away from the program with their own "innovator's personal development plan."

The program is set to launch on May 17th. For more information, please see Darden's Learn to Die: How to Win at the Innovation Game program webpage.
