Design Thinking
Design thinking is the practice of developing solutions to complex problems by seeing those problems within an integrated set of processes. Often considered a human-centered approach, design thinking aims to create solutions that make sense for people. Managers can use design thinking to gain a more cohesive understanding of complex processes generally associated with business, including consumer behavior and applied research. Apple, with its user-centered approach to product development, has had notable success in implementing design thinking in products like the iPad and the iPod.
