Harvard to Offer an Executive Program in Africa

Program combines a module in Cape Town with one on the Harvard Campus in Boston

Harvard Business School Executive Education has announced plans to launch its Senior Executive Program in Africa.

The new program is made up of a week-long module in Cape Town, which is followed by an independent study period and then another week-long module on the Harvard campus in Boston.

The first module in Cape Town will cover topics in strategy, innovation, and leadership. During the independent study period, participants will apply the concepts that they learned in the first module in their workplaces. During the module in Boston, the program will cover topics in driving growth and sustainable growth.

The program is offered in partnership with Pretoria University's Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). The program will begin in August, 2016.

Harvard will also launch its Senior Executive Program in India this year.
