European Schools On Top of New FT Executive Education Rankings

HEC Paris, Iese, Insead, and Esade crown the 2023 list

In the 2023 Executive Education rankings released by the Financial Times last month, European business schools dominated and snagged eight out of the top 10 spots.

The combined rankings – taking into account both open-enrollment and custom-designed courses – saw HEC Paris in the number one spot, followed by Spain’s Iese Business School, France’s Insead, Esade Business School in Barcelona, and London Business School.

Next came Switzerland’s IMD, Brazil’s Fundação Dom Cabral, the University of Michigan, and France’s Essec Business School. Milan-based SDA Bocconi and ESMT Berlin tied for the 10th-place spot.

Duke Corporate Education separately placed number one on the custom courses table, but did not appear in the combined ranking as the school does not offer open-enrollment courses.

The evaluation took into account a range of criteria including program design, course materials, faculty expertise, faculty and participant diversity, and overall satisfaction.
