It's no surprise why many managers and team leader choose to pursue executive education in Europe. The continent's many accredited business schools—in places like Paris, Berlin, Madrid, and other European locations—offer countless of executive courses, in many business topics.

Indeed, Europe's top business schools carry a level of stature that's hard to ignore. Many of the continent's executive education institutes are accredited by the world's most reputable agencies, and some are even ranked by publications such as The Financial Times, meaning that participants are sure to get a world-class education.

Open enrollment executive education in Europe can range from short, day-long (or even half-day long) courses, where participants can surgically develop new skills or learn about current breakthroughs in various fields; to more robust, degree-like programs such as a General Management Program (GMP). Also on offer are modular courses, which are delivered in multiple sessions over a certain amount of time (so that in between the sessions, executives can start implementing their learning in the workplace.)

Typically, Europe's executive courses will leverage insights from research, meaning that participants are sure to get the most up-to-date insights, which can help in their day-to-day work environments.

Those seeking executive education in Europe have the opportunity to select from courses in a number of topics, ranging from business analytics, to soft skills such as communication or negotiation, not to mention courses in finance (or the popular finance for non-financial managers courses), accounting, or supply chain. In this way, managers can either delve into their own operational areas, or explore new ones in order to expand their toolkits.

Although many who pursue Europe-based executive courses choose to go to their local business schools, the nature of executive education means that others might travel to the continent so that they can attend world-class business schools in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, and other countries.
