Texas Executive Education at the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business has announced a new certificate in innovation, starting this fall.
The new certificate program aims to help business leaders foster innovative thinking in developing new products and services. According to a Texas Executive Education press release, participants will leave with tools and techniques that will allow their organizations and teams "innovate and execute successfully."
To earn the certificate, participants will need to take three two-day courses and six electives. The required courses are "Leading Innovation within Existing Organizations," "Maximizing Mental Agility to Improve Creativity," and "Strategic and Business Model Innovation." The electives can be chosen from a list of eight courses, that cover topics ranging from building engagement to writing business proposals.
