Wisconsin School of Business Announces Executive MBA Redesign

WSB will be restructuring their Executive MBA program, bringing it up-to-date with the modern market and its demands

In an effort to update their program to the ever changing market, WSB has announced plans to restructure their Executive MBA based on recent innovation and modernization, as well as offering more flexibility.

The updated program aims to “develop an agile, market-driven portfolio of graduate degrees for professionals at every stage of their careers,” and it follows last year’s launch of the Wisconsin Professional MBA, which offers students a flexible schedule with a hybrid format.

The new structure aims to address modern industry demand and shifting dynamics, offering students new opportunities to acquire highly regarded skills and a focus on leadership development.

In regards to these shifting dynamics, Enno Siemsen, associate dean for graduate programs, pointed out that “people at this stage in their careers are seeing all sorts of new challenges. [...] How do I grow my business? How do I manage change? How do I think about strategy? How do I think about leadership? How can I make effective decisions and get others to make effective decisions?”

A more adaptable and modernized format aims to provide students with the appropriate tools to address these questions. The program will feature “new and innovative courses, expanded experiential learning, and increased executive mentoring.”

The redesigned Executive MBA is set to open in fall, 2023, with classes beginning the following year.
