Stanford to Offer Online Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

First class in the self-paced program to launch this month

Stanford Graduate School of Business has announced plans to offer an "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate," in an online format.

To receive the certificate, students will need to complete eight courses that cover a range of topics related to innovation. Students can currently register for the first course, "Marketing Innovation," which is available now through December. In total, participants will be able to choose from 12 courses, including "Prototyping: The Art of Learning from Mistakes," and "Entrepreneurial Management and Finance."

All courses are self-paced and completely online; Stanford estimates that students will spend approximately four hours of online lectures and four hours of assignments per course. The certificate will take between one and two years to complete.
