The University of Virginia Darden School of Business has announced plans to host a new leadership course specifically designed for communications executives of color.
The new program, called the "Executive Leadership Development Program," is a four-day class that explores "the intersection of business-critical leadership competencies with cultural identity," according to a course webpage.
This course was developed jointly with the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications, a group dedicated to increasing the diversity in the communications in industry. The next course offering will take place in December 2012.
