Stanford Launches New Executive Course for Emerging CFOs

Modular program to help financial executives gain a strategic perspective

Stanford Graduate School of Business will offer a new executive education program for emerging CFOs starting in February 2013.

The new program, "The Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial Leadership Program" aims to help financial executives gain a wider, more strategic perspective and leverage more effective leadership skills, according to the Stanford course webpage.

The executive program will be offered in a modular format, delivered in two one-week modules. Course sessions will cover topics ranging from analyzing financial data to restructuring and decision-making, according to a sample schedule.
