New Course at Georgetown Examines the International Business of Sports

The 3-day "The Global Business of Sports" to start in January

Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business will offer a new executive program covering the international business of sports, according to a press release.

"The Global Business of Sports" is a three-day course aimed at executives who are looking for a competitive advantage in the international sports landscape. "The program is designed for professionals looking to harness the principles of sports to create social, economic and technology benefits and drive competitive advantage," according to the course webpage.

The executive program will cover a range of emerging topics,  including how globalization and social media are affecting the sports industry, and how to maximize engagement through effective brand management.
