The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago has announced plans to launch a new course aimed at executives who want to eventually become Chief Financial Officers.
The new one-week course will cover a variety of topics relevant to prospective CFOs, including leadership, analytical skills, and finance strategy. The program will also go into new developments in financial reporting and touch on some ideas in mergers and acquisitions. According to a Chicago Booth press release, "participants in the program will learn to identify the attributes needed to create a high-performance environment that will drive innovation and financial results."
The program is designed for senior executives who have significant experience in management or finance.
The first offering of the course will take place starting on May 20. For more information, please see Chicago Booth's press release announcing the launch of "The Executive Program for Prospective CFOs."
