IESE to Open Campus in Munich

Permanent campus will host various executive education offerings

IESE Business School has announced that it will open a new campus in Munich later this year.

The new campus will be used to host various executive education offerings, including portions of the school's Advanced Management Program (AMP) and its Program for Management Development (PMD), as well as some company-specific custom programs.

The delivery of the AMP and PMD courses include residency sessions in both Munich and Barcelona:

  • In the Advanced Management Program, participants complete the opening and closing weeks on IESE's Barcelona campus; all of the core modules take place in Munich. The course is spread out over six months.
  • In the Program for Management Development, four residential weeks are split evenly between Barcelona and Munich. For the fifth module, participants can choose to stay in Barcelona, or go to New York City.

Future plans for the Munich campus also include the hosting of international modules for the school's Global Executive MBA program. Current venues for the EMBA program include Barcelona, Sao Paolo, Shanghai, Silicon Valley, and New York City.

IESE has offered executive education programs in Munich since 2005, but hasn't yet had a permanent campus in the city.
