Fundação Dom Cabral and Smith to Launch a Women's Leadership Program

6-day executive program to begin in September

Brazil's Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) has partnered with Massachusetts' Smith College to launch an executive education program in leadership specifically for women.

The program is called "Women's Global Leaders" and will take place in Brazil. Over six days, participants will cover topics such as "Managing Innovation," "The Power of Strengths-Based Leadership," and "Art, Leadership, and the Woman’s Path."

The program is set to help women address the unique challenges that they face doing business in Latin America. "There are still too few women in prominent positions in business, but we see this scenario changing as a result of research showing companies with more gender diversity on their boards achieving better financial results," says Iris Newalu, Executive Director of Smith College Executive Education.

The program will be offered beginning on September 7th. For more information, please see the Women's Global Leaders course webpage.
