Two Scholarships for Women Now Available at UK B-Schools

Scholarships available at London Business School and Oxford - Said

The 30 Percent Club -- an organization that is working to have 30 percent women on FTSE-100 by the end of 2015 -- is now offering two new scholarships for women who are interested in attending executive MBA and executive programs at two UK business schools.

The business schools include London Business School and Oxford University's Said Business School.

At London Business School, the scholarship will help one woman candidate attend the school's Senior Executive Program, a two-week modular program that covers topics in strategy, leadership, and transformation. Candidates who wish to apply for this scholarship should be at the C-suite level at a large company (or aspire to be at this level.) CEOs of mid-sized companies are also welcome to apply. To apply for this scholarship, applicants should submit a short description of how the program will help them, as well as a brief comment from a line manager or CEO. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is July 31st.

The Oxford - Said scholarship will cover £32,000 towards the school's Executive MBA program -- about half of the program's overall cost -- for one woman candidate. This scholarship will be awarded based on the breadth and depth of their work experience as well as past qualifications. Candidates who apply for the program's January 2015 cohort by September 15th will automatically be considered for this scholarship.

The 30 Percent Club also offered a fully-funded EMBA scholarship at Henley Business School, but the application deadline for this funding has passed.
