Maastricht School of Management to Launch a Certificate in Healthcare

Program to be delivered part-time over 12 months

The Maastricht School of Management will launch an Executive Certificate in Healthcare in 2015.

"The program prepares participants to assume leadership positions in the healthcare sector," according to the course webpage. Participants can expect to gain insights into the trends and challenges in the healthcare sector. They'll come away from the program with a take-home action plan that will allow them to immediately apply what they've learned.

The curriculum covers topics in quality and safety management, operations management in healthcare organizations, and governance issues, among others.

The program will be delivered on a part-time basis over 12 months, and will include field visits. It's aimed at healthcare professionals working in managerial roles, such as senior managers, medical doctors, and department heads.

The Executive Certificate in Healthcare is set to begin in April, 2015.
