Wharton Offers New Executive Program for Financial Advisors

Four-day program to launch in October

Later this year, Wharton Executive Education will launch a new executive program aimed at financial advisors of ultra-high net worth clients.

The new program is called "Private Wealth Management Professional Track," and is offered in partnership with the Institute for Private Investors, which is a private investors network.

In the new program, which takes place over four days, participants will work in teams on a case study where they will create an investment plan for a family struggling with decisions regarding their wealth and issues of governance. They'll then present their results to representatives from high-net worth families, who will provide feedback.

The program is designed specifically for financial advisors who work with ultra-high net worth families, and those who aspire to work with them. Typical attendees will work in a family office or might be employed by a bank, brokerage firm, or an independent investment advisory firm.

The first offering of Private Wealth Management Professional Track will begin on October 18th in Philadelphia.
