IMD to Offer Executive Education Program to Help Businesses Transform Digitally

Five-day course to focus on analytics, mobile, and digital platforms

Switzerland's IMD Business School has announced the launch of a new executive education program that will help leaders enact organizational change through the use of digital technologies.

The new course, called "Leading Digital Business Transformation," is intended to help leaders navigate emerging issues in the digital arena.

"Digital innovations such as big data and analytics, cloud and mobile solutions, social media and the Internet of Things are changing the dynamics of competition across industries," says the program's co-director Mike Wade.

"Business leaders know they must transform their organizations in response, but they do not know how. Our program will show leaders and managers why they need to transform their business, what they need to do, and most importantly, how they can do it."

To meet this need, the new five-day program will feature a focus on topics in business analytics and big data, mobile technology, and digital platforms and social media. It's aimed at business leaders and senior managers from all sectors.

The inaugural offering of the program will take place in Lausanne beginning on September 28th. A second offering will be held in Singapore in November.
