Rutgers Business School Executive Education has announced that it is launching a new executive education program in the basics of finance next month.
"Fundamentals of Finance for Managers," which begins April 21st, is aimed at participants without a background in finance.
According to Jennie Fine, the program's manager, Fundamentals of Finance for Managers was developed in direct response to market need.
"Across industries and functional roles, managers need a solid ability to analyze, prepare and present financial information," Fine says, "but often have had no experience or education to prepare them."
The program is specifically designed for managers who supervise finance professionals, as well as those who need to analyze and present financial information.
Over the program's three days, participants will explore a range of financial-related issues, with modules in "Understanding and Interpreting Financial Reports," "Tools for Financial Decision Making," and "Financial Strategy."
