INSEAD to Offer New Executive Education Program in Sustainability

Program to launch on the school's Singapore campus in November

INSEAD Executive Education has announced that it will launch a new sustainability-focused executive education program.

The new program is called "Leading the Business of Sustainability," and will initially be offered on the school's Singapore campus.

It will be five days long and help managers take advantage of emerging opportunities in sustainability.

“Many organisations have not yet fully appreciated the business opportunities associated with sustainability, often perceiving it as a ‘feel-good’ feature promising limited financial return, which leads to a lack of urgency and incentive in planning and investment,” according to Jean-Francois Manzoni, the program's director.

To help executives get away from this view, the program will illustrate the business value and clear financial gains that are possible with a new perception of sustainability. To do so, the program will address topics in strategy and innovation, stakeholder engagement, leadership and change, and measurement and reporting.

Leading the Business of Sustainability is aimed at senior executives with significant decision-making power, such as general managers and heads of divisions. Additionally, a limited number of seats will be available for regulators, NGO professionals, investors, and others.

The program will be offered beginning on November 2nd. For more information please see the video below or INSEAD's Leading the Business of Sustainability program webpage.
