The National University of Singapore has announced that it will launch a new program aimed at meeting future leadership needs in Asia's financial sector. "As Asia grows, a looming shortage of senior leaders among the region's financial institutions is expected," according to a statement from the school.
To meet this need, NUS is launching an executive education offering called "Asia Leaders in Financial Institutions," a modular program with segments in Singapore, Mumbai, Beijing, and New York. In total, the program includes 16 days of instruction delivered in five modules over ten months.
The program will also include "systematic mentoring by prominent financial leaders from around the world," as well as "an on-the-job assignment in finance" plus a capstone team project, according to the school.
The Asia Leaders in Financial Institutions program is aimed at senior directors and managing directors in the financial sector. The program is set to launch in September 2015.
